SIM Owner Details Checker

This is a basic SIM info network tool. It uses third-party API(fetches data from public resources). Check registered SIM owner information instantly by entering a mobile number or CNIC.

What are Sim Owner Details?

The topic of hour, SIM owner details or sim data in Pakistan is very interesting to learn. People also call them SIM information. According to Google, “SIM owner details” is one of the most highly searched queries on the internet in Pakistan. So, what are they? Let’s understand this with an example.

You needed a SIM card, so you went to a telecom operator (Jazz, Ufone, Telenor, Zong, SCO, etc.) franchise. You selected a SIM card number. The franchise agent registered that number to your CNIC after your biometric verification. This verification ties that SIM number to your CNIC. To do this, PTA’s Subscriber Verification Management System (SVMS) stores some of your info in its database. That particular info is called SIM Owner Details. Keep in mind that it is illegal to check another Pakistani’s SIM owner details.

What SIM information does PTA SVMS store?

Whenever or wherever a Pakistani activates a SIM card, SVMS stores 6 important sim info elements.

  • Sim Owner’s Official Name: This is the name as per your CNIC. SVMS fetches it from NADRA.
  • Sim Owner NADRA CNIC number: 13 Digit Number of Your CNIC.
  • Network Operator: It stores the network company names like Jazz, Ufone, Telenor, Zong, SCO, etc.
  • Date of Registration/Activation: Time and Date of SIM activation.
  • Biometric Verification Status(BVS): SIM BVS status is either verified or non-verified.
  • SIM Status: Active, Suspended, or Blocked.

Is SMS ‘MNP’ to 667 is Simownerdetails Online Check Method?

No, texting MNP to 667 is not a method to check details of sim card owner. This method only tells you about whether the SIM in your phone is on your CNIC or not.

Reply of your message will be a masked CNIC with 3 or 4 ending digits naked. This is a cross-checking method. You can use our simownerdetails tool that is a good alternative. For your knowledge, there is also an MNP term in PTA regulations. MNP stands for Mobile Number Portability. By MNP, you can switch any cellular network provider(e.g. from Zong to Jazz, or Telenor to Ufone). For this, you never need to change your existing mobile phone number.

USSD Codes and SIM Card Owner Details

There is no connection between SIM ownership details and official USSD codes provided by telecom companies. Jazz, Ufone, Telenor, Zong, ONIC, SCOM provide their users with USSD(Unstructured Supplementary Service Data). Every code has its own specific function.

A few fake simownerdetails websites call these USSD codes a gateway to check sim ownership details of Pakistanis. It is completely false. Below is the unboxing of these false statements:

  • Jazz – USSD *99#: It’s only tell your 11 Digit phone number, nothing else.
  • Zong – USSD *310#: It will only tell you about Zong account info.
  • Telenor – USSD *345#: It will open Telenor menu.
  • Ufone – USSD *333#: It also open Ufone SIM services menu.

Verification System of Your CNIC/SIM Card vs Simownerdetails

To show Google an in-depth content, fake websites claim to show 20 methods for checking sim owner data. It is 100% absurd and non-sense. One of their fake methods includes PTA-streamed official codes for successful SIM verification on your CNIC. It is not sim data checker method. Instead these codes only tell about whether the SIM is on your NIC or not. Following are the codes:

Source: PTA SIM/CNIC Verification Status!

  • For Mobilink: Send your CNIC number from a registered SIM on that CNIC to 6001. It will confirm your status.
  • For Telenor: Send blank/any SMS to 7751. You will get reply that either your number is Biometric Verification System(BVS) verified or not.
  • For Ufone: Dial *336# and input 1 in the menu. The user will get the verification status of the SIM number.
  • For Warid: Send your CNIC to a short-code 789 from a BVS verified number. In reply you will get the list of all verified SIM numbers on your CNIC.

Hence, it is also not a primary and PTA-recommended way to check NADRA SIM owner details. Use 2 official PTA methods(mentioned above) or our simownerdetails tool.

Can I check SIM Owner Information from Jazz, ZONG, UFONE, Telenor, SCO, ONIC official apps?

The answer is no. As we have discussed earlier, Pak sim card owner details are particular data stored in PTA SVMS. The official apps of all telecom companies provides only basic info about current balance, packages or simple registered 11 digit SIM number. Read the following:

Simosa

1) Mobilink App name is Simosa. SIMOSA doesn’t offer Jazz sim owner details. It will tell you all about Jazz promotional offers, packages, your current balance and credits. Although, it’s a good app for Mobilink users.

UPTCL

2) UFONE app is UPTCL. It does the same thing as SIMOSA to Jazz users. It comes with PTCL packages integration but does not offer UFONE sim owner details. Use our sim card ownership details tool.

My Telenor

3) Telenor app name is My Telenor. It is not offering Telenor SIM owner details. It also work on the same principle like SIMOSA but to Telenor users.

My Zong

4) ZONG app name is My Zong available on Google Play Store. App does not offer ZONG SIM owner details. It is also a user-subscriptions-centered app.

Again, me and my team recommend you to use 668 SMS method or SIM information system(cnic.sims.pk). Also, you can use our free simownerdetails tool. Only these are your free, safe and secure methods to get Jazz, Telenor, Ufone, and Zong sim owner details.

Should I Call on Network Helpline to Check SIM Owner Details Information?

Me and my team also tested this method. So, yes, you can call on any network helpline and ask about number of SIMs on your CNIC. But you just need to pass a basic verification info. Sometimes, the agents refuse to provide other network SIMs numbers because of their privacy policies. But by this, at least you become aware of number of SIMs on your NIC. Also, you can use our SIM owner information tool.

Helpline Numbers:

  • Jazz : 111
  • Zong : 310
  • Telenor : 345
  • Ufone: 333

Paid Pak SIM Owner Details and CNIC Information Services

Many fake websites claim to fetch sim data from telecom operators’ franchises. They call it fresh Sim Database services. They claim to sell you that Pak sim data in 350Rs. Look my friend, this is unethical and strictly prohibited by Pakistan Law and PTA. Stay away from such service providers. The agents offer you fresh Pak Sim Owner Details, Live tracker, CNIC information, IMIE tracking, Family tree services. They will take your money away and involve you in a criminal activity.

PTA banned such 100+ websites and apps last year. Never rely on such sources and find a legal way to handle every SIM data problem coming towards you.

What are SIM owner details apps on Google Play Store?

No, every sim owner details check app on Google Play Store is unauthorized. Developers run those apps for ads revenue. These sim details check apps use third-party APIs and red-listed by the Pakistan Government.

Me and my team have personally downloaded a few apps. We found them useless and ads-rich. SIM data these apps show is old. They will ask you money for fresh and current phone number details. There were two sections. One is CNIC information and other one is SIM owner details.

Stay away from these unofficial and unauthorized apps.

Expert Opinion Why Pakistanis Check SIM Owner Details:

My team and I talked to 20+ PTA officials, surveyed 1,000+ Pakistanis, and researched SIM owner details in Pakistan both online and offline. We have concluded that Pakistanis check SIM owner details for the following reasons.

1) Unknown Calls Disturbance(Especially Female)

Unknown calls are one of the main reasons people check SIM owner name and address. This may be the case with you. Fraudsters threaten innocent people. Ladies in Pakistan are the most vulnerable to such scenarios, so they check the SIM owner details of that unknown number. For safety reasons, you can use our simownerdetails finder tool, or you can call the police.

2) Illegal SIM Card Registration on Pakistanis CNIC

This happens, and checking SIM owner details online or offline is very important. Always check the number of SIMs on your CNIC. If there are SIMs that are not in your knowledge, that is a problem.

3) Girlfriend Boyfriend Culture Ups the SIMownerdetails Trend

Lovers need to find out whether their partner is cheating or not. So, they check their partner’s SIM owner details online or offline. They may approach SIM data services through fake websites or apps.

4) Slow Operational Speed of Government Institutes Enhance Sim Data Demand

Crime happens. Sometimes, you need to trace someone, and it is important to check SIM ownership details. The government has its own SIM information system, but its operational speed is still low. So, people check SIM owner details by number or CNIC through shady ways.

What to Do Right After You Check SIM Owner Details?

Let’s say you used our Pak sim owner details and CNIC information online check tool. In this case, there can only be two possibilities.

1) There are unknown SIM numbers on Your CNIC. In this case, you need to visit your network’s official office in your area immediately. Disown the SIM. Afterwards, file a illegal SIM registration complaint to PTA online at PTA Official Complaint Management System(CMS). To avoid responsibility of crimes(commit by fraudsters), also report to NADRA.

2) You are safe from illegal SIM registration scams. So, you don’t need to worry and just keep checking up with your SIM owner data.

How Fraudsters Do Illegal SIM Registrations on Your or Your Family CNICs?

We have built this simownerdetails platform to make Pakistanis aware of truth. A truth that will keep you and your family away from SIM frauds, illegal JazzCash and EasyPaisa accounts. Below is how scammers register SIMs and accounts by your CNIC information.

a) Free SIM Card Scam

A fraud woman will come to your doorstep offering you to get a free SIM. She will say you will get unlimited SMS, internet and Calls. This is her trap for  you. Beware she will register fake SIMs against your CNIC.

PTA Warning: PTA Intensifies Crackdown on Illegal Issuance of SIMs

b) Benazir Income Support Program

Agents take your CNIC pictures which they will use to open illegal bank accounts. They mostly open Jazzcash, EasyPaisa and other accounts at minor levels for illegal black money transactions.

PTA Warning for Pakistanis: Recognise scams

c) Corrupt Franchise Agents

These dishonest and bagherat franchise agents use “biometric failed, try again” trick. They can be of any franchise like Jazz, Zong, Telenor, Ufone etc. They will activate SIMs on a customer’s CNIC without telling them at all. Also, they can register extra SIMs while a customer is buying one legitimate one.

How to Avoid SIM Scams in Pakistan Today?

If you know nothing about such SIM owner details and its related frauds, read the following tips. Follow theses tips(PTA recommended) strictly to stay safe.

  • Protect your CNIC itself – Say no to everyone asking for your CNIC.
  • Protect your fingerprint – Never thumb on an unofficial paper or fingerprint scanner.
  • Check what’s already registered in your name – Check your SIM owner details at least 2 times in a month.
  • Look at franchise agent screen while registering new SIM.
